Adding materials to your ShopStats.ai inventory is essential for tracking the components of your products. Follow these steps to create new materials:
1. Log In to Your ShopStats.ai Account
- Go to the ShopStats.ai website and log in with your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Materials Page
- Once logged in, find and click on the "Materials" option in the main menu.
3. Initiate Material Creation
- On the Materials page, look for a button labeled "Create Material"
- Click this button to open the material creation form.
4. Fill in the Material Creation Form
- The form will open, containing various fields to input your material details.
- Fill in the required information, which may include:
- Material name
- Description
- SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
- Cost
6. Specify Inventory Details
- Set the initial stock quantity.
7. Review and Save
- Double-check all the information you've entered.
- Look for a "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.
- Click this button to add the material to your inventory.
8. Confirmation
- After saving, you should see a confirmation message that your material has been created.
- The new material should now appear in your materials listing.
Tip: You can also import materials in bulk by clicking the "Import Materials" button on the Materials page. This is useful if you have many materials to add at once.

After creating a material, you can edit its information later by clicking on the material name in the listing to access its details page.
