Learn how to bulk import your product data into ShopStats.ai using CSV files, streamlining your inventory management process.
Importing products into ShopStats.ai is a straightforward process that allows you to add multiple products at once. Follow these steps to import your product data:
1. Prepare Your CSV File
- Create a CSV file with your product data.
- Include columns for product details such as name, description, price, SKU, quantity, etc.
- Make sure that the headers in your CSV file correspond closely to the field names used in ShopStats.ai, such as "Product Name," "Description," and "Price." For your convenience, you can refer to a sample product import CSV file here.
- For image fields, ensure that the header title includes the word "image." This allows the system to automatically retrieve images from the file without the need for additional mapping.
Note: If you are importing data from Etsy, we recommend referring to our "Exporting Files from Etsy" guide to properly download your files. ShopStats.ai offers pre-configured settings specifically for Etsy to simplify your import experience.

- Use the dropdown menus to select the correct ShopStats.ai field for each of your CSV columns.
- You can also choose to ignore certain columns if they're not needed.
7. Handle Special Fields
- If you wish to establish specific associations during your import, follow these steps:
- Check the "Associated Field" box next to the relevant field you want to associate.
- Choose the "Entity" with which you want to create this association (for example, if you select the SKU field, you may associate it with the Sales entity).
- Specify the "Column" within the chosen entity that you want to map the associated field to (for instance, if you are associating the SKU field with the Sales entity, you might select the sale_sku column).
8. Review and Confirm
- Once all fields are mapped correctly, review your settings.
- Click on "Accept Mapping" or "Import" to start the import process.
9. Wait for Import to Complete
- The system will process your file. This may take a few moments depending on the number of products.
- Do not close the page or navigate away during this process.
10. Check Import Results

Tip: Before importing a large number of products, try importing a small test file first to ensure your data is formatted correctly and imports as expected.
