      The Material Record page in ShopStats.ai provides a comprehensive overview of individual materials. This guide will help you navigate through the various sections and understand the information presented.

      1. Accessing the Material Record Page

      • Log in to your ShopStats.ai account.
      • Navigate to the "Materials" section.
      • Click on a specific material to open its Material Record page.

      2. Overview of the Material Record Page

      The page features multiple tabs, each dedicated to different facets of the material. The available tabs include Overview, Products, Purchases, and Cost Analysis, allowing for a thorough exploration of the material's attributes and related information.

      Material Details

      • At the top of the page, you'll find basic material information.
      • You can edit material details directly from this page.

      Material Overview Card

      The Material Overview card provides a summary of the material:

      • View key material details such as name, description, SKU, and cost.
      • See inventory information, including current quantity and reorder points.
      • Check material categories and tags.

      Material Usage Details

      This section shows how the material is being used across your products:

      • View total usage across all products.
      • See a breakdown of usage by product.
      • Analyze waste percentages and cost implications.

      Products Card

      The Products card shows information about the products that use this material:

      • View a list of products associated with the material.
      • See details such as product name, quantity used, and cost per product.
      • Add or remove product associations.
      • Use the Material Product Wizard to set up or adjust material usage for each product.

      Purchases Card

      • A sidebar is available showing additional material details or quick edit options.
      • You can toggle the sidebar visibility using an arrow icon.
      • To edit the Material, simply click on the field you would like to edit and start typing. When you have finished editing, select "Save" at the bottom of the sidebar.
